Thomas Hodgetts
Dates: British, active 1801 - 1846
Biographical Account:

Hodgetts was from London and worked as a painter and mezzotint engraver. His engraved and mezzotint plates were generally copies of portraits but he also created engraved copies of history and landscape subjects, such as works towards JMW Turner's 'Liber Studiorum' series.

 

Hodgett’s work was regularly displayed at the British Institution and Royal Academy in London.
