Arthur Hayball
Dates: British, 1823 - 1887
Biographical Account:

Hayaball was a Sheffield-based carpenter, joiner and woodcarver, who studied at Sheffield School of Art. His work attracted many local commissions, and also some further afield such as at Arundel Castle, home of the Duke of Norfolk. His work was exhibited at the Great Exhibition on 1851.


He was a regular visitor to the Ruskin Collection at St George’s Museum Walkley. Later in his life he taught at Sheffield School of Art, where his children studied too.
