Biographical Account: Joseph Henry Fields was born in 1890. Before the First World War he lived in Pitsmoor, Sheffield, and worked as a razor grinder. He joined up with the 2/3 West Riding Brigade Royal Field Artillery 28 April 1915, and survived the war.
