Harrison Ruskin Fowler
Dates: British, 1876-1962
Biographical Account: Harrison Fowler was from Liverpool and was Assistant Art Teacher at the School of Art. He was linked to the Guild of St George and Ruskin  via his father, John Edwards Fowler, who was one of the first 'Companions' or members of the Guild of St George. He was a sculptor, exhibiting a postumous relief portait of Ruskin in 1910. together with another portrait of Thomas Carlyle. He also produced book illustrations. Later, in 1925, Fowler cemented his association with the Guild of St George further by becoming its secretary.
