Henry Dawe

Biographical Account:

Dawe was from London. He was primarily a mezzotint engraver, but also painted scenes of everyday life.


He was the son of an engraver and political cartoonist, Philip Dawe, and his brothers James and George, and sister Margaret were also artists and engravers.
