Broadhead & Atkin
Biographical Account: Broadhead & Atkin produced a wide range of Britannia metal goods from their works at North Street and later Love Street in Sheffield. The firm was a partnership of Roger Broadhead and Henry Atkin between 1834 and 1853. In 1853 the partnership was dissolved and they formed respectively R. Broadhead & Co and Atkin Brothers. Broadhead was in business until 1900 but Atkin Brothers remained until 1957, a highly successful manufacturer of domestic plated wares.
