William Ramsden Brealey was a painter and designer. He was born in 1889 in Sheffield.
He studied at Sheffield College of Art and later at the Royal College of Art in London.
During the First World War he served with the 39th Division. Little is known about his time during the war.
He was a member of the Sheffield Society of Artists and regularly exhibited at the Royal Academy in London between 1927 and 1947. He also exhibited at Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Society of Painters in Oil.
He died in 1949 at the age of 59 in Lambeth, London.
