Henry Seebohm was an ornithologist most famous for travelling around Siberia. However, he also visited warmer climes before embarking on those trips. He wrote diaries of his travels, but not all of these have come to light. His collections can often be used to reveal the full extent of his wanderings. This Stilt was collected in Tunisia in 1871.
