This is a paint stencil brush used at Painted Fabrics Limited, and belonged to Arthur Fisher. Arthur served during the First World War, and lost both of his legs in a shell attack in 1918. After the war he decided not to return to work at Hadfields steelworks and went to work at Painted Fabrics instead.
