This is a pink silk blouse made by Painted Fabrics Limited. It has a stencilled paint geometric and floral pattern in blue and gold across the front and back, and a square and triangle pattern around both sleeves. The blouse is part of a group of items collected by Harold Simpson. Harold was injured whilst serving in the army in the First World War, and had to have his right arm amputated. He went to work for the company and was trained in stencilling and printing.
