Paul Hill is a keen climber and took this photograph during a walk on High Tor crag with his daughter. He was taken with how her shoes appeared to touch the river below. Hill was particularly interested in the effects of the high vantage point and described this work as ‘a view that is not founded on proof or certainty’.
