Rachel Kerridge designed and made this flower vase using a bursary awarded to her by the North East Area of the National Association of Decorative and Fine Art Societies (NADFAS). The flower vase comprises a solid wooden base and is designed to overhang a table or other surface. A Sterling silver channel is set into the base. This is attached to a flower holder with a triangular cross section, which hangs beneath the level of the base. The NADFAS competition is open to second year students on the BA Silversmithing & Jewellery Course at Sheffield Hallam University. Rachel Kerridge's piece is the second created through this competition. Commissioned and kindly donated by the North East Area of NADFAS (National Association of Decorative and Fine Art Societies).
