Pair of moccasins with beadwork decoration of crosses, squares and triangles. Ankle area is edged with fur. Moccasins can be linked to a particular region or group of people just by examining their distinctive patterns and designs. Native American women made and traded beadwork items and their level of skill matched their status in society.
