Warrior's cap or hat conical in shape made of plaited split cane, coloured in bands of dyed goat's hair in red and black up each side and over top. It has a fibre chin strap. In Naga society, these hats are woven by men and only worn by warriors. The decoration and bright colours symbolise male power, status and achievements in battle
