This First World War card was sent home to his parents by Harry Naylor while he was on active service. The message on the reverse reads "Dearest Father, mother and all, Just a few lines to you hoping that you are in the best of health as it leaves me at present. I am sending you this card hoping you have a Happy New Year. Sorry I could[n't] get a New Year Card, as they have sold out but this one is allright. I hope you will like it. I should think you will have got a fine stock of cards now, with love from your loving son, Harry xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
