This print is from a set of illustrations sold together as "Views in Weston Park by a Leading Local Artist". This particular view shows the ornamental gates designed by Godfrey Sykes at the entrance on Winter Street, and the since-demolished park keepers lodge. Weston Park was orginally part of the grounds of Weston Hall, and both were bought by Sheffield Council in 1873.
