This postcard shows the stepping stones at Endcliffe Park in Sheffield. In 1885 Sheffield Corporation bought 20 acres of land at Endcliffe Wood for a public park. The following year they commissioned the landscape architect William Goldring to design and lay out the area. Endcliffe Park is one of the Porter Valley parks, which also includes Bingham Park, Whiteley Woods, Forge Dam, and Porter Clough.
