These tram tickets and instruction leaflet were collected in 1994, on the first day that Phase One of the Sheffield Supertram came into service. An adult one-trip ticket cost £1, and a concession 25p. The Phase One route ran between Meadowhall and Fitzalan Square/ Ponds Forge. Tickets were originally bought before passengers got on to the tram- today we buy them from the conductor after we’ve boarded.
