Museums Sheffield commissioned this model of the Meersbrook United Reform Church from Mr Arthur Beck. Mr Beck made matchstick models as a hobby. The model of the church took over seventy hours to make and shows the main brick built church and its corrugated iron extension. The church was replaced with a modern building and community centre in 2010, after the old building was found to have structural problems.
