This sewing sample was made by Mrs Dorothy Topham at Waltheof School. She worked as a needlework teacher from the early 1960s just after the school opened, until her retirement in 1970. Waltheof Secondary Modern School was built to relive the overcrowding in local junior schools. In 1969 the school became a Comprehensive and amalgamated with a nearby secondary modern school. In 2006 it became Sheffield Park Academy.
