Hibakusha is the name given to survivors of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945. Many survivors have shared their experience of the bombings to educate and warn against nuclear weapons. This badge features a white origami crane, a traditional Japanese symbol for hope and peace.
