This photograph shows the Mappin Art Gallery and the Weston Park weather station in 1910. The weather station is seen here in its original position, where it started recording weather data in 1882. Weston Park weather station is one of the longest, continuously recording weather stations in the UK. The Mappin Art Gallery was opened in 1887.
