These tickets are for entry to one of the City of Sheffield's public swimming baths. The city had several of these, including Park Baths and Glossop Road Baths. Sheaf Valley in the city centre opened in 1972, and was eventually demolished to make way for Ponds Forge. For open air bathing, the lido and paddling pools at Millhouses were extremely popular.
